Unsinkable The History of Boston Whaler Matthew D Plunkett Clint Fisher Crowell 9780760359990 Books Reviews
- While working at a major Boston advertising agency, I was responsible for the product advertising and sales promotion of the Boston Whaler for three years during the time the company was owned by its founder Dick Fisher. This book was a wonderful trip down memory lane for me. Matthew Plunkett has done a great job of capturing the essence of the company and the iconic boat they designed and built. Whaler fans will love it. I do.
- Good book on the history of Boston Whaler. If you're a Whaler owner it's a good read with lots of history on the Whalers.
- Matt does a good job and covers all the bases. Learned alot despite being in the Whaler community for 15 years.
- Bought this book for my father who worked for Whaler for 25 years. He loves the book.
- My husband has had a Boston Whalers for almost 30 years, and loved receiving this book. It has a lot of interesting history of the boat, and useful information
- Loved this book! Great history. I grew up in Norwell always wanted an Eastport. Bought and restored a 1966.
- Great gift
- Having been a huge fan of Boston Whaler for pretty much my entire life, this book is just the ticket to feed my obsession. I just received this masterpiece today and although I want to take my time savoring each word, I have not been able to put it down...guess I will be reading it multiple times and this is coming from a guy who usually reads only car, boat and fishing magazines! A+ on the foreword, can totally relate to those memories. If you are a fan of Boston Whalers, you've owned one, own one now or hope to in the future, this is a must-own book! Flipping through it cover to cover, it is very comprehensive, well thought out and written and will become a family heirloom as I've passed the Boston Whaler obsession down to my next generation.
